A closer look.
A formal living room reimagined as a dynamic social space for people to sit and visit. The 4 chairs surrounding the organic table swivel. The art and accessories act as conversation starters. The soaring windows and ceiling height make the space feel grand. The comfortable family room with the fireplace is anchored on the long wall by molding and black paint. Layers of art-deco, abstract silhouettes, and sometimes a cat, make this space feel welcoming and ready to sink in. Pattern is used as a structural device — the room’s edges hold the eye while the seating stays calm.
